Michelle York These multi-media sculptures resolve around a narrative theme that range from environmental messages to inspirations created from childhood memories. I have a fascination with the juxtaposition of the clay and found objects. The fun is in the pulling together of foreign parts to bring the story to fruition. I feel it is vital that I continue with my art as an instructor of the arts. the role of artist/teacher keeps me in touch with the student's learning process.
