The Science curriculum at Lahser High School provides opportunities for students of all abilities to increase their body of knowledge and challenges them to think logically and creatively. Each faculty member is experienced and highly qualified in his or her field, thus providing students with a traditional core of science courses and a wide variety of electives.

Department Guidelines for Course Selections:

• 9th Grade Students may enroll in either Biology or General Biology.

• 10th Grade Students should select one of the physical sciences (chemistry, earth science, or geophysical science). A second science course from any discipline may also be selected.

• The majority of Lahser High School students continue their science education with electives in the 11th and 12th grades, often taking two science courses concurrently.
