2006-2007 Mock Trial Club Members

The Lahser Mock Trial Team is a competitive club that meets each year to prepare for the annual Michigan High School Mock Trial competition put on by the Center for Civic Education through Law. The team is given a "problem" or case around Thanksgiving and is given until March to prepare cases for the Plaintiff and Defense. The team then participates in regional competition where each side of the case is presented separately by team members against teams from other schools from across the state. If the team finishes among the top few teams at the Regional competition it moves onto the State Championships. Then the team that finishes first in the state competition moves onto the national Mock Trial Competition, which is held in a different state each year.
