The Best High School Radio Station award was based on the number of awards won by students from high school radio stations in the United States. WBFH won 1st Place this year after taking 3rd Place last year. WGBK of Glenview, Illinois took 2nd Place.
"This was the second year we sent entries to the John Drury Awards," said Bowers. "I'm very proud of the students who won and for WBFH finishing first for Best High School Radio Station."
Andover senior and WBFH Operations Manager Ryan Fishman won a total of five Drury awards and made the trip to Naperville to accept his awards. "It was definitely worth the trip", said Fishman.
