New Oakland Child-Adolescent and Family Center is an outpatient and partial hospitalization psychiatric clinic providing services to children, adolescents, adults and families. New Oakland's executive medical director is a board certified child-adolescent and general psychiatrist. The facility is accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. In addition to traditional outpatient services, New Oakland also offers a non-traditional, non-hospital based day and evening crisis intervention program entitled "Family Empowerment in Face to Face--Seven Step Approach" along with 24-hour crisis stabilization and in-home treatment. New Oakland is a fully licensed substance abuse treatment facility with a specialization in dual diagnosis. Therapeutic staff include psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, professional counselors, clinical nurse specialists and bachelor level milieu counselors.
