The IB Diploma Programme is designed as an academically challenging and balanced educational programme that prepares students for academic success in college. The programme takes place over the course of the 11th and 12th grades and is recognized by colleges and universities world-wide.
The Diploma Programme curriculum consists of 6 subject classes in the areas of languages, social studies, experimental sciences, mathematics, and the arts. Additionally, there are three core components. The curriculum is designed to give students a pre-college/liberal arts education while still in high school.

- Group 1/Language A1: Study will focus on literature in a student's first language, including selections of world literature.
- Group 2/Second Language: Study will promote an understanding of another culture through the study of a second language.
- Group 3/Individuals and Societies: Study will focus on the development of an appreciation of history, historical events, and its relation to the human experience.
- Group 4/Experimental Sciences: Study will focus on a science and scientific methods and techniques so that students are able to analyze, evaluate and synthesize information.
- Group 5/Mathematics: Study will equip students with the ability to develop mathematical knowledge, concepts and principles, as well as their analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Group 6/The Arts: Study will allow a high degree of flexibility in diverse artistic and enriching contexts.

- Theory of Knowledge: Students focus on a variety of issues related to truth, language, perception, reality, interpretation and ethics. A strong emphasis is placed on critical thinking skills and student awareness of their own learning.
- Extended Essay: Gives students the opportunity to expand their knowledge in a particular area by selecting an IB subject area as a topic.
- Creativity/Action/Service: Assists students in balancing the demands of a rigorous academic program with a personal exploration of the arts, physical activity and service to others.
