As you can see, the response to Lahser's first two community read events were phenomenal.

Lahser's first community read event provided students with the opportunity to engage in discussions and participate in activities designed with a novel in mind. As you can see, Lahser students and faculty were very involved making this a fun and informative event. |

Lahser's second Community Read event took place on April 22nd 2008 - Earth Day. This event provided students with the opportunity to engage in discussions and participate in an earth day activity designed with a novel in mind. Students brought flowers to plant into the Peace Garden just outside of the cafeteria as a way of showing appreciation for the earth.
