Lahser Student is the American Vision Award Winner
for the
2007 Scholastic Competition

Kyle Gracey On Saturday, January 6th, Senior, Kyle Gracey won one of the top five awards in the Scholastic Competition which was held on  Friday, January 5th at Detroit Country Day School.

Each year, these awards provide the opportunity for more than 250,000 teenagers in grades 7-12 to earn regional and national honors. Graduating high school seniors who submit portfolios of their work have the opportunity to compete for more than $1.5 million in scholarships from colleges and universities across the country. This is an incredible honor for Kyle, since out of the 3800 pieces presented, only 5 were selected to receive the award. Kyle had the only photograph of those five.

You will be able to see Kyle’s work, along with other talented Lahser Art Students during the Scholastic Show which will be on February 3, 2007 at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.
